    Save the Children is the leading independent organization creating lasting change in the lives of children in need around the world. Save the Children has been operating in Lebanon since 1999 and is recognized for its commitment to accountability, innovation and collaboration.  Save the Children currently implements programs in Child Protection, Education, CRC and Emergency Response throughout Lebanon.

    Save the Children is seeking qualified candidates to fulfill the following positions, on 5month/ 6 months  contracts, with possible extentions,   for its Lebanon Country Office, in the following locations Beirut, Tripoli, Akkar and Bekaa:

    Education Adviser (Beirut- Kubayyat)  (Re-advertised)
    To assist in developing the emergency education response including setting up programs in new intervention areas; developing concept notes for potential donors; developing response plans; producing good working documents and creating linkages with other Education partners. Representation at Sectoral meetings both in Beirut and regional level.
    Job Requirements:
    •   Degree in Education or a relevant subject area – or ability to demonstrate equivalent applied experience.
    •   Minimum of 3 years experience in leading assessment activities and of designing, managing, monitoring and evaluating education programs in emergencies for INGOs.
    •   Experience of applying relevant interagency humanitarian frameworks and standards in education in emergencies (for example INEE Minimum Standards).
    •   Proven experience of clear proposal and report writing and documentation.
